Dr Pradeep Kakkadasam Ramaswamy is an experienced Gastroenterologist with over 10 years of clinical expertise. He trained in India before further specialising in Europe, completing advanced fellowships in Amsterdam and Milan. Since moving to Australia, he has worked at Gold Coast University Hospital, where he is a Staff Specialist and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

His key interests include inflammatory bowel disease, coeliac disease, liver disease, and reflux disorders. He is also highly skilled in gastroscopy, colonoscopy, polypectomy, and intestinal ultrasound — leading the first dedicated intestinal ultrasound service on the Gold Coast.

Dr Ramaswamy is actively involved in teaching, research, and international collaborations, with numerous publications and conference presentations. He combines technical expertise with a compassionate approach, offering patients comprehensive and evidence-based digestive care.
